Sir Alex Ferguson Convinced Me That Manchester United Will Be Successful And That's Why I'm Staying Wayne Rooney has spoken to MUTV in the aftermath of Friday lunchtime's sensational revelation that he has signed a new five-year contract with Man utd. Speaking exclusively to United's own television channel, Rooney admitted that the past few days have been particularly difficult for him and stated his delight at committing his future to the Red Devils until at least 2015.
